I have always liked playing with archetypes. Virtually every event in life, object, or natural phenomenon can be reduced to such basic figures, core myths. Great stories can be found in the simple. Nature is my greatest source of inspiration. In addition, our own Nordic traditions and the stories and songs of distant lands. Also contemporary dance and art, physical theater. In metalwork, crowns – headpieces – have become a special object of interest for me. Just as in ancient times, great questions and answers, feelings were woven into objects, clothes, and jewelry, I also try to do this through my own creations – to create soulful jewelry. For example, what do those ribbons represent that once adorned headpieces – wreaths, crowns, and garlands in ancient times? Do they have any connection, perhaps with the groves where people still tie ribbons and cords to create a connection between the earthly and invisible worlds? Perhaps, fluttering in the air and wind, they contributed to the disappearance of time boundaries and the vision of a connection with what is beyond the seven mountains and seas and even further?
